Accreditation

Capstone Excelsior University, LLC (CA) – C.E.U. is primarily a religious school.  Credits earned are not guaranteed to be accepted by secular or state run programs. C.E.U. is accredited by Accrediting Commission International – A.C.I. which is a private school association unrelated to government accreditation.

Accreditation Details—an accrediting organization is a "watchman on the wall." Accreditation denotes to give trust or confidence to; vouch for; to recommend; to furnish with credentials, as an envoy or ambassador.  Every accreditation group is not the same.  Additionally, these are different and focused in different areas of accreditation.

Accrediting Commission International—A.C.I. is an international accrediting commission which holds as its primary objective the encouragement and maintenance of sound scholarship and the highest academic achievement in the areas of private education.  Quality education is the goal at all times.  Its purpose is the preparation of quality education in private schools, colleges, and theological seminaries.  It is a non-governmental body and makes no claim to be connected with the government.  U.S. Department of Education schools do not receive credits from this school.

C.E.U. is a National Christian Counselors Association-N.C.C.A., Certified Academic Institution-C.A.I. This certification is primarily geared toward the College of Christian Counseling or for students majoring in Christian counseling.  However, these courses can be earned by any student in others colleges as an upper division elective(s).

Certification Details—this school certification is geared for Christian Counseling Students. C.E.U. is a National Christian Counselors Association (N.C.C.A.) Certified Academic Institution/College (C.A.I.) and uses N.C.C.A.'s curriculum.  Before a student's graduation, C.E.U. will train those who have the call to Christian Counseling by providing the training, materials, and curriculum from N.C.C.A. opportunity to become APS (Arno Profile System) Certified and obtain membership with S.A.C.C. (Sarasota Academy of Christian Counseling) S.A.C.C. of Sarasota, Florida.  This training, certification and licensure will equip C.E.U. students to help more people because they will learn a Biblically-based counseling technique that is over 90% successful.  This training will be non-denominational. 

Association with S.A.C.C. and N.C.C.A—Upon completion of this training students can:

• Submit evidence of successful completion of the training and receive a grade transcript along with the appropriate fees and qualify for membership in the S.A.C.C. and become A.P.S. Certified.

• Receive full credit for the course from the National Christian Counselors Association (N.C.C.A.) toward their requirements for license as a Licensed Clinical Christian Counselor or as a Licensed Clinical Pastoral Counselor. For doctorate level student there counseling licensure will be "Advanced Certified."
